Embroiderer Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Embroiderer to join our team in the garment decoration industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in embroidery or a strong interest in learning to step into a creative, hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate commercial embroidery machines and equipment
* Prepare garments for embroidery including hooping, stabilizing, and trimming
* Load embroidery files and ensure designs are accurate and properly aligned
* Perform quality control checks on finished products
* Maintain machines by cleaning, oiling, and troubleshooting minor issues
* Monitor production deadlines and prioritize workflow accordingly
* Work closely with the design team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
* Assist in other production tasks as needed (e.g. folding, packing/unpacking)
Requirements:
* Familiarity with embroidery software (e.g. Wilcom, Pulse, Hatch) is a plus
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
* A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment
* Experience operating a embroidery machine producing custom or bulk orders
* Understanding of different fabrics and thread types
* Creativity and an interest in garment decoration
* Flexibility to work extended hours during busy seasons
