Position Overview :
The Sales Representative is a key position in developing Equipment and associated services Sales and market share for the Manitou Center.
Key objective to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively offering the company's products and related services. Personally contact and secure new business accounts/customers.
The position reports directly to the General Manager Manitou Center.
Main responsibilities:
Contact and maintain contact in person and electronically with new and existing customers to build a business relationship that generates sales in line with KPIs set by the Company.
Maintain accurate customer and prospect records of all visits, contacts and quotes in the CRM system (Salesforce).
Outbound prospect new customers within your designated sales territory or where instructed using a range of sales techniques including cold calling, referral, networking to obtain sales opportunities.
Actively promote the full services and products offered by Manitou Center and systematically include related services in quotations
Accurately quote, tender and negotiate for equipment sales as per the Sales department policies and procedures.
Demonstrate New, and Used equipment to prospects effectively to maximise the potential of concluding a sale.
Complete all relevant sales documentation to process, build up, settle and complete a sale in line with Sales Department policies and procedures.
Deliver, hand over and demonstrate sold or hired equipment to customers as required
Provide trade-in evaluations if and when requested
Ensure ongoing training requirements are met in order to;
Understand the products we sell,
Understand the competitors' products,
Understand appropriate attachments,
Maintain sales knowledge and competency
Participate in Sales Department activities that arise from time to time such as yard changes, trade or agricultural shows and exhibitions, some of which occur outside of regular trading hours
Transversal projects and innovation
Where required, participate on transversal projects to support the development of Manitou Center activity
Propose and Innovate on targeted actions to bring more added value to our customers

A self-starter, you will be able to manage your time and take the initiative but more importantly you are someone who is happy to take direction and fulfill a support role

Flexibility to work and adapt himself/herself to different cultures and new projects.
Languages: English (native tongue or fully fluent)
Experience:
Strong work experience in a sales position
Familiar with handling machinery
Internal and external relations:
With Manitou Australia (all Dept)
With Manitou Group (Factory, APAC Region etc…)
With local Service Providers
Location and travel:
Manitou Center in Sydney.
