Electrical Estimator/Planner Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator/Planner to create accurate cost estimates for electrical projects. Key responsibilities include reviewing project drawings, preparing detailed cost estimates, coordinating supplier pricing, and preparing tender submissions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Review project drawings, plans, and engineering specifications to ensure accuracy.
* Develop detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project-related expenses.
* Create Bills of Quantities and material take-offs to support cost estimation.
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive and accurate quotes.
* Prepare tender submissions, proposals, and supporting documentation to meet client requirements.
* Identify and quantify risks, exclusions, clarifications, and assumptions to mitigate potential issues.
* Attend site inspections and client meetings as required to ensure effective communication.
