About the Company:

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
The Role:
The participant is a male with a spinal cord injury who requires two-to-one support at various times throughout the day, seven days a week.
This role is on a casual on-going basis and commencing mid October.
Available shifts:
Approx shift times required
6 am - 2 pm / 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm
6.30 am - 8.30 am / 6.30- 8.30 pm
Plus inactive sleepover
Rates
- Day - $ 39.20 per hour
- Evening rate after 8 pm - $ 43.12 per hour
- Saturday - $ 54.88 per hour
- Sunday - $ 70.56 per hour
- Sleepover $187.80 includes 2 wake ups
Duties
- Assistance with personal care/bowel care/showering etc
- Assistance with domestic tasks
- Manual handling such as transfers
- Administering medication
- Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments
- Family assistance
- Allocated exercies/stretches
Skills and experiences
- Australian Driver License
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
- Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
- Administer medication certificate
