Key Details
Initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension
EL1 equivalent role with competitive daily rates
Hybrid work model – 2 days in office (ACT or NSW), 3 days from home
Work within a respected, high impact federal department
Must hold NV1 or Baseline Security Clearance (Australian Citizens Only)
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end IT sourcing activities, including labour hire and vendor arrangements
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and determine sourcing needs
Support contract negotiations to ensure value for money outcomes
Maintain systems for tracking and reporting sourcing processes
Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues
Conduct risk assessments on sourcing agreements and suggest improvements
Forecast future sourcing needs in coordination with internal teams
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in IT sourcing, procurement, and vendor management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Government experience highly regarded
Must have Baseline or NV1 security clearance
