Job Description:
The role of a Field Support Technician is to provide maintenance and reliability support for plant and equipment regionally. This involves ensuring adherence to relevant procedures, statutory requirements and codes. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety, with the ability to model the use of Orica's safety systems.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinates and completes audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols
* Ensures maintenance system adherence through influencing and motivation of site personnel
* Mentors staff and local service contractors in the support of Orica's Operations
* Executes schedule servicing, alterations and breakdown maintenance
* Provides specialist equipment training and technical support
* Investigates and implements opportunities which result in productivity improvements in plant/process and to reduce plant and MMU maintenance operating costs
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary or technical qualification and have up to 2 years experience post qualification. Alternatively, without formal qualifications, up to 10 years of administrative experience or allocation of work to operators is acceptable.

* Technical and/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
