We're building a merit pool for multi-year government contract gigs on a major cloud transformation. This is the kind of program where "PM" isn't status updates and slide decks, it's real delivery leadership: shaping the plan, keeping vendors honest, clearing roadblocks, managing dependencies, and driving outcomes through governance that actually works.
Key Requirements (Don't Apply If You Can't Tick These):
Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain a Baseline security clearance (holding Baseline already is strongly preferred).
You live in, or you're willing to relocate to: Hobart, Melbourne, or Sydney (only).
7+ years project management delivering complex technology programs (multi-stream, multi-vendor).
Proven delivery leadership across cloud/platform/integration work with strong risk, dependency, and delivery governance discipline.
Picture this: you're coordinating multiple delivery streams across platform foundations, security, identity, network, integrations, and migration waves. You'll manage delivery cadence, RAID, scope control, and stakeholder expectations, with a strong technical spine so you can challenge assumptions and spot risks early (before they become expensive).
What you'll be responsible for:
End-to-end delivery management across multiple workstreams and vendors
Integrated planning: milestones, dependencies, critical path, change impacts
Delivery governance: decision forums, reporting, risk management, and issue escalation
Financials: forecasting, burn, resourcing, and vendor management (commercial discipline)
Quality and readiness: environment/test dependencies, cutover planning, release governance
Stakeholder management across execs, delivery teams, and assurance/security stakeholders

Essential criteria
Australian Citizen eligible to obtain Baseline security clearance (and able to meet suitability requirements).
Must live in, or be willing to relocate to Hobart, Melbourne, or Sydney (only).
7+ years' experience as a Technical Project Manager (or PM with strong technical delivery context).
Demonstrated delivery leadership across complex programs involving platform, integration, and/or cloud components.
Strong capability in program delivery mechanics: planning, RAID, dependency management, scope control, reporting, and governance.
Proven experience managing multi-vendor delivery, including commercial performance and delivery accountability.
Strong stakeholder leadership: can manage exec expectations, negotiate trade-offs, and drive decisions to closure.
Desirable criteria
Baseline clearance currently held (active).
Government delivery experience (assurance pathways, procurement/commercial constraints, audit-readiness).
Experience delivering cloud transformation or platform uplift programs (AWS/Azure/GCP not critical).
Strong delivery tooling familiarity (MS Project/Smartsheet, Jira/ADO, Confluence, reporting dashboards).
Exposure to cutover planning and operational readiness for major go-lives (service transition discipline).
