Job Overview
* Our team requires a senior licensed aircraft maintenance engineer to lead the Broome / IOT engineering Team, plan and oversee scheduled maintenance ensuring compliance with MOE / Part 145 MOS.
* The successful candidate will hold safety as a core value and contribute to achieving a zero harm and incident / injury free environment through participation in all relevant safety programs.
* This role includes performing duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer when required.
* Achieving high standards of aircraft maintenance, documentation and certification in line with MOE, procedures manuals and responsible CAMO requirements is essential.
* Suitable candidates will have experience supervising maintenance personnel and supporting apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure smooth execution of planned and unscheduled maintenance activities.
* Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to achieve high levels of efficiency and productivity.
* Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all aspects of maintenance operations.
* Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Applicants must possess a valid LAME B1 / B2 or dual license.
* Heavy and Line maintenance experience is highly desirable.
* A proven track record of leading engineering teams is essential.
* Candidates may be offered a DHC8 Classic Type Rating if not already rated.
