The Senior Financial Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller, is responsible for delivering high-quality, service-focused general accounting support for The Star Sydney, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Finance team. A few of your responsibilities Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and tax support Deliver monthly reports to business partners, including balance sheets, reconciliation summaries, and P&L analysis Prepare quarterly reporting packs for The Star Sydney Lead engagement with finance teams through structured plans covering deliverables, site visits, and communication Investigate and resolve transactional issues such as misallocations What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualified with 3 years’ experience 3 years’ experience in financial accounting roles Proficient in Oracle, TM1, and advanced Excel About You You thrive in dynamic environments, bringing precision, insight, and a strong sense of ownership to everything you do. With a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, you’re ready to take the lead in financial reporting and play a key role in supporting the success of The Star Sydney.
