Our client is a complex multinational corporation with a strong market presence. The role reports directly to the Commercial Finance Manager and acts as a strategic partner to the supply chain team, delivering financial insights to enhance efficiency and drive cost optimisation through meticulous financial control and commercial guidance.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the supply chain team to deliver impactful financial, commercial, and strategic insights.
* Manage accounting for standard costs and purchasing variances, providing detailed explanations during month-end reporting.
* Prepare detailed inventory analysis, including ageing reports and provision calculations, and participate in regular stock counts.
* Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the supply chain and service functions.
* Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the supply chain function.
* Prepare and publish a supply chain KPIs dashboard to contribute to monthly business performance reviews.
Ideal Profile / Qualifications
* CA/CPA qualified with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in management accounting, FP&A, or business finance, ideally with exposure to supply chain operations.
* Experience in a complex multinational company and managing cross-functional relationships.
* Ability to act as a strategic partner with leadership qualities and the ability to influence decision-making.
* Strong budgeting and forecasting experience, with preferred experience using SAP ERP (Material Master and FICO modules).
* Strong commercial mindset with ability to critically evaluate business problems and propose effective solutions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
* Self-driven, high attention to detail, and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
