Role
As a Business Development Manager you'll manage broker portfolios, enhance engagement, and drive new business opportunities. We focus on activation: engaging brokers, educating them on our products, and driving growth through persistence and strong relationships.
Responsibilities – First 6‐12 months
* Managing and monitoring assigned broker portfolios through various channels to provide exceptional service.
* Developing a deep understanding of products, policies, and loan structuring to offer informed guidance.
* Discussing loan scenarios and structures with mortgage brokers.
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our network.
* Increasing broker utilisation through engagement and education.
* Efficiently managing tasks and undertaking additional duties as directed by management.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in financial services.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Persistence and determination to engage brokers and drive activation.
* A positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of initiative.
* Problem‐solving and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a high-performing team and deliver high‐quality work.
* A friendly, energetic, and authentic approach to building relationships.
