Job Title: Graduate Clinical Coder
Role Overview:
Mackay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Graduate Clinical Coder to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be employed full-time for a minimum of 24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Concurrently undertake the structured Clinical Coding Accelerated Graduate Training Program at an AO3 level (plus allowances), delivered by the State Health Information Management (HIM) and Clinical Coding Support team.
* Work at an AO4 level (plus allowances) at Mackay Base Hospital, building further expertise in a clinical coding environment.
Requirements:
* Diploma of Clinical Coding or Bachelor of Health Information Management from a recognized institution.
* Recent graduates of the mentioned qualifications are encouraged to apply.
