North and West Remote Health (NWRH) is on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-loving, people-smart Support Services Officer to join our Wellbeing Team in Mount Isa. Skills and Experience
You’ll be the backbone of our Wellbeing team — keeping things running smoothly, supporting staff, and helping our services reach the people who need them most. Expect a mix of:
- Front‑of‑house vibes: manage phones, emails, mail, and greet visitors with warmth
- Admin wizardry: coordinate travel schedules, purchase orders, invoices, and bookings
- Data magic: managing and maintaining referral systems and collating service statistics
- Customer connection: sharing info about NWRH services and being a helpful voice
- Office organisation: keeping our filing system sharp and up-to‑date

About the pay and benefits
- Starting salary from $58,451 + super (negotiable based on experience)
- Salary packaging up to $15,900
- 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading

About NWRH
At North and West Remote Health, we deliver allied health, mental health, wellbeing, and community support services across rural, regional, and remote Queensland. Our multidisciplinary team supports more than 50 communities – including Townsville, Mount Isa, Longreach, Normanton, Doomadgee, Cloncurry, and Mornington Island – to improve physical, social, and emotional wellbeing.

- You must have the right to live and work in Australia
- You may be required to travel by road and/or in small planes to communities distant from your catchment area on a regular basis, so must be comfortable with this aspect of the role
- A ‘C’ class Driver’s License (manual preferred) is also an essential requirement
