Job Description
We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Customer Service Officer at our Kununurra Leisure Centre. As the first point of contact for patrons and visitors, this individual will be responsible for managing front desk operations, including reception, membership enquiries, facility bookings, and cash handling.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be friendly and approachable, and have a strong ability to work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage front desk operations, including reception, membership enquiries, facility bookings, and cash handling.
* Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and visitors.
* Process payments, memberships, and facility bookings.
* Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer data.
* Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of the front-of-house and common areas.
* Support the promotion of leisure centre programs, activities, and events.
* Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
* Report hazards, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly to the Facility Manager.
* Assist in administrative and operational duties as required to support overall centre operations.
Requirements
* Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Relevant qualifications in Sport and Recreation (or 2 years equivalent experience).
* A current unrestricted WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence is essential for this role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.

* High level of organisational and time management skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
