About The Role
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Consultation Liaison Clinical Nurse Consultant coordinates and delivers high-quality person‐centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). Located in the CAMHS team, the Consultation Liaison CNC will liaise and provide clinical leadership and linkage between NNSWLHD CAMHS mental health teams and the Emergency Department, the Paediatric Unit, the CAMHS Inpatient Unit and relevant community agencies and programs to ensure that appropriate mental services are provided to children and young people.
