About the Role
As a Food Technologist, you'll play a key role in developing new products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance across our portfolio. This is a hands‑on, highly creative position that blends technical expertise, project leadership, and customer‑focused innovation.
You'll collaborate closely with R&D, QA, Production, Sales, Marketing and external partners to bring new concepts to life, from bench model through to commercial launch. If you want to influence global food trends, this is your chance.
Responsibilities
Drive Product Innovation
* Develop new products and enhance existing formulations
* Match competitor offerings and optimise performance
* Conduct trials, sensory evaluations and process improvements
Lead Technical Documentation & Compliance
* Create accurate formulations, specs and processing instructions
* Develop compliant labels and maintain product documentation
* Ensure all products meet food safety and regulatory standards
Inspire Creative Applications
* Develop menu concepts, usage directions and customer demos
* Explore global trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
* Support Sales & Marketing with technical insights and presentations
Provide Expert Technical Support
* Work with QA and Production to troubleshoot issues
* Partner with suppliers and customers on product performance
* Deliver compelling technical presentations
Manage R&D Projects
* Lead concepts from idea to launch
* Coordinate cross‑functional communication
* Track progress, timelines and deliverables
Qualifications
* Degree holder in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
* 5+ years' experience in product development within food manufacturing
* Confident communicating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* A love for solving problems and thinking creatively
* Able to manage multiple projects with precision and autonomy
* Thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment
