We are seeking a skilled leader to join our Supply Leadership Team as the Head of Planning. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process across both Supply and Demand functions.
This involves coordinating all functions to deliver a best-practice process that is owned and valued by everyone. You will also be responsible for custodianship of quality processes, clearly setting formats, goals, and expected outcomes.
As the Head of Planning, you will drive continuous improvement to achieve improved forecast accuracy, better service, optimized inventory, and reduced waste. This includes analyzing trends and developing insights with internal customers and through collaborative forecasting with external customers.
You will engage, lead, and develop the planning team, developing talent and strong succession plans to retain knowledge within the team.
The ideal candidate will possess a business degree in a relevant discipline and have a strong understanding of supply/demand planning processes, inventory management, and forecasting.
Proven experience in process definition and implementation, change management, team leadership, and presentation skills are essential. Ability to work with SAP and APO systems is an advantage.
