We are seeking a passionate and purpose-driven educator to take on the vital role of Stage 5 Coordinator, leading the wellbeing and academic care of our Year 9 and 10 students.

Your Purpose in This Role
As Stage 5 Coordinator, you\'ll oversee the holistic development of students in Years 9 and 10 – leading wellbeing initiatives, managing academic care, supporting Learning Mentors and shaping experiences that promote independence, agency and community spirit.
You'll play a central role in:
Student Wellbeing and Pastoral Care:
Develop programs and interventions that support adolescent wellbeing and respond to behavioural and emotional needs.
Academic Leadership:
Monitor academic progress and partner with teachers, Learning Mentors and Heads of Departments to support success for all students.
Program Design and Delivery:
Oversee our specialist Year 9 program, camps, orientation and transition activities, along with other key stage initiatives.
Community Engagement:
Build strong, positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
Professional Conduct and Compliance:
Maintain confidentiality, uphold the highest standards of professional behaviour and ensure compliance with child protection, WHS, and all relevant legislative and school policy requirements.
What You Bring
A deep understanding of adolescent development and learning
Experience in student wellbeing and/or pastoral leadership roles
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to analyse and act on student data
Confidence in leading teams and coordinating programs
A collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation in education
Teaching experience in Mathematics or Physics (advantageous)
Experience with the Duke of Edinburgh program (advantageous)
Qualifications & Requirements
Teaching qualifications recognised in NSW
Current or willing to obtain First Aid certification
Ongoing qualified learning in child protection
Commitment to the responsibilities of a child-safe environment
Working With Us
You'll work alongside a dynamic and supportive team, including the Head of Senior School, Learning Mentors, Psychologists, Chaplain, Inclusive Education team and more. You'll have direct leadership over the Stage 5 team and make a tangible difference in the lives of students during these pivotal years.
