We're proud to be delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), and we're looking for the best people to help make it happen.
QTMP involves the design, manufacture and maintenance of 65 new six-car passenger trains to support Cross River Rail and the **** Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. These trains will be built at a new, purpose-built facility in Torbanlea on the Fraser Coast.

The role at a glance
In this role, you will play a vital part in the electrical assembly, testing, and commissioning of next-generation railcars.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform wire cutting, labelling, crimping, and termination to precise specifications
Install electrical looms and components in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions
Conduct electrical testing, measurement, and fault finding to ensure system integrity and performance
Support statutory and preventative maintenance activities across production systems
Respond to facility asset breakdowns and assist during equipment failures to minimise downtime
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality targets
About you
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
Knowledge of electrical rollingstock systems, manufacturing processes, and specialised equipment, from production to electrical testing and commissioning (desired)
Sound knowledge of Queensland electrical regulations and relevant Australian electrical standards, with the ability to apply them in both manufacturing and maintenance environments
The ability to dismantle, repair, replace, assemble, and fit engineering components
Skilled in precision electrical and electronic measurement
Experience in terminating and connecting electrical wiring, including electrical crimping
The capability to fault-find and repair electrical equipment and components operating up to ****V AC / ****V DC
