Job Title: Credit Risk Manager
About the Role:
As a seasoned Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily credit operations, including collections on high-value transactions, reviewing credit limits, and producing reports.
This key role involves collaborating closely with clients, branch teams, and management to ensure accounts are well-maintained and credit risks are minimised.
* Collections: Direct with clients, often involving high value transactions, with new debts falling due every day.
* Managing Credit Limits: Reviewing and preparing submissions for limit increases, or assisting clients to work within their existing credit limit.
* Producing Daily Reports

1. Operational Efficiency: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate processing of credit applications and reporting.
2. Credit Decision Making: Analyse credit data and make informed decisions regarding credit approvals and declines, maintaining risk exposure within acceptable parameters.
3. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, collections, and client services, to drive business growth and minimise risk.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following qualities and skills:
1. Previous Commercial Credit Experience: Solid understanding of debt recovery processes, analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience working in a commercial credit environment.
2. Clear Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively with clients and colleagues.
3. Sound MS Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to create informative reports and presentations.
4. Decisive: The ability to make sound decisions based on available data and take a firm stand, while also considering the views and perspectives of others.
5. Integrity: Consistently honest with yourself and others, upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all your interactions.
