The Role
We are looking for an experienced lawyer with a minimum of 3 years post-admission family law experience to join our busy practice.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating family law files autonomously, providing excellent client service, and will be looking for career progression and a supportive environment. We are looking for candidates who are invested in continued learning and we will support and encourage you to achieve your goals. As an inclusive organisation, we invite our entire team to actively participate in strategy development and team planning.
You will join a friendly and vibrant team of dedicated lawyers and efficient support staff. You will work on diverse and challenging matters and further your skills and experience under the mentorship of two principals who are both Accredited Specialists in Family Law.
About you
The successful candidate will possess:
* A thorough current working knowledge of family law and practice.
* The ability to interact, influence and negotiate and work cooperatively in a team environment.
* Analytical and conceptual skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to draft legal documents, provide authoritative advice and effectively communicate complex information.
Additional Criteria
The successful candidate chosen for this position must have the following attributes:
* A current Practising Certificate;
* 3-years post admission family law experience;
* A passion for family law;
* A desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients;
* High attention to detail;
* Proven ability to deliver outcomes;
* Strong interpersonal skills;
* A positive and open mind;
* The ability to communicate and present confidently and assertively;
* Well-developed problem-solving skills and demonstrated lateral thinking;
* A Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle to be able to travel to appear at Court and mediations;
