About the role
Edge Glass and Aluminium Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Aluminium Window Installer/Fitter to join our team. In this full-time, Melbourne based role, you will be responsible for installing and fitting high-quality commercial aluminium windows and glazing systems.
To be a successful candidate for this role it is required that you perform the following duties:
* Accurately measure, cut, and install commercial aluminium windows and associated fittings
* Safely and efficiently transport and handle window frames and glazing materials
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, meeting safety and quality requirements
* Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of projects
* Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment
* Maintain detailed records and documentation of all installation activities
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial aluminium window installer/fitter
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
