Configuration & Assurance Manager Role
Randstad Australia is partnering with a leading Australian defence organisation to secure top talent for a key maritime construction project in South Australia.
We seek an experienced Configuration and Assurance Manager skilled in developing and maintaining a Configuration Management Plan for the Infrastructure Team, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
The role involves managing configuration baselines, developing processes for infrastructure assurance, and applying systems engineering principles to manage infrastructure requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Configuration Management products, processes, and tools for project information management.
* Support Engineering Leads to meet project outcomes.
* Maintain and update CM documents and processes, support Corrective Actions closure.
* Manage activities related to the Configuration Control Board and Engineering Review Boards, including minutes and action tracking.
* Implement Systems Engineering principles within the team.
* Develop templates and tools for requirements development, management, and communication.
* Support the professional development of the Infrastructure Team in Systems Engineering practices.
About You:
* Australian citizen with NV1 Security Clearance required.
* Qualification in Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Configuration Management and/or Systems Engineering.
* Proficiency in management methodologies, including scheduling, prioritising, coaching, and process execution.
* Advanced knowledge of configuration management techniques, especially in Defence environments.
* Familiar with standards like EIA-649 and INCOSE Certification.
