As a Boilermaker/Welder, you'll play a pivotal role in fabricating, assembling, and repairing tanks and other pressure vessels, ensuring all work meets safety standards and specifications.
Your core contributions would be:
* Fabricate, assemble, and repair tanks and other pressure vessels.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for accurate installation and repairs.
* Conduct inspections and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
* Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvements.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing boiler systems to optimize performance.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
* Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices in boilermaking techniques and safety protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role within the mechanical or industrial engineering field.
* Experience with pressure vessels and related components.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fabrication and welding.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the industrial environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with other engineers and staff.
