About the Role As a Senior Exercise Physiologist within the MHRS, you will play a vital role in supporting consumer recovery through evidence-based exercise interventions.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced clinical assessment and rehabilitation planning to improve physical and mental well-being.
In addition to your clinical caseload, you will offer expert consultancy, advise on best practices, and contribute to education, research, and service development.
Your leadership in exercise physiology will help maximise consumer outcomes, promote social inclusion, and enhance overall quality of life.
About You To succeed in this role, you will have:
Relevant Qualifications & Registration – A degree or equivalent qualification that entitles accredited membership with Exercise and Sports Science Australia, along with accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist.Advanced Clinical Skills – Ability to apply sound professional judgement, deliver evidence-based interventions, and support clients with complex rehabilitation needs in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.Strong Communication & Collaboration – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to Professional Growth – Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary teamwork, service improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development in exercise physiology and rehabilitation.If you are passionate about making a difference in mental health rehabilitation, we'd love to hear from you!
