Offer description

Department of Education WA – Wattle Grove WA

Applicants from the previous process IPS/TCH who were assessed as suitable are not required to reapply.

We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Learning, Excellence, Equity and Care - these are the threads of the Wattle Grove Primary School (PS) tapestry that sew our school community together, creating a magic place where we are making tomorrow.

Situated in the foothills of the Darling Ranges, 14 kilometres east of Perth, Wattle Grove PS is a high performing school with a rich history spanning over 100 years. Our children have the unique opportunity to connect with the past whilst embracing a contemporary, modern and innovative learning environment, with state of the art facilities.

Our identity as a school has evolved, yet our community ties are as strong as they have ever been. Children set foot through our school gates and feel happy, safe and connected to their school. As a school, we make the most of every day and value building relationships with children, their parents and family members, as well as our wider school community. We focus on providing children with high quality teaching and learning experiences in a safe and caring environment.

The Role

Embark on a fulfilling journey in our team as we seek dedicated primary teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability. Suitable applicants should be conscientious and dedicated teachers who possess a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. They will ideally be actively involved both within the school and wider community, highly reflective about their teaching practice and committed to professional learning, evidence-based decision making and differentiation. A capacity and willingness to lead the development and delivery of school programs and priorities would be viewed favourably.

Join us in fostering a shared vision anchored in whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to professional growth. We celebrate innovation and leadership, encouraging educators to actively seek opportunities within our dynamic team.

Embrace a culture of accountability, where motivated educators are committed to delivering best practice. If you are a passionate educator ready to contribute to a culture of excellence, positivity, innovation, and collaboration, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of our inspiring teaching team.
