About the Team
Our Legal Assistant team is critical to the success of our Partners and Practitioners. Our legal assistants bring with them a diverse range of legal assistant experience across all areas of commercial law and are committed to providing high level, efficient, and effective legal assistant support.
About the Role
An opportunity exists for a Legal Assistant with at least four years' Legal Assistant experience to join our Canberra office.
As a valued member of the Dispute Resolution team you will be working closely with a Senior Partner, Special Counsel and Associate providing high-level legal assistant support including, but not limited to document drafting and amending, billing, diary and email management, travel arrangements and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
In this role, you will be an integral member of an upbeat, friendly and inclusive team - not just supporting them, but actively collaborating to deliver high-calibre work. Your contributions will be key to the team's overall success.
About You
You obviously have plenty of technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, but there is much more to you. You:
* have a minimum of four years' experience delivering high-level legal assistant support with and client focused outlook, always;
* are proactive and work well under pressure, meet your deadlines and excel working autonomously;
* have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and you use them effectively, internally and externally; and
* take a collaborative, positive and energetic approach to everything you do.
