The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Supervisor to join our manufacturing division.
This position will report to the Production Manager and requires an individual who can lead the workshop towards success while actively supporting the team in a hands-on manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of workshop activities and team.
* Coordinate and execute workshop activities by planning and prioritising tasks.
* Ensure efficiency of the workshop to achieve targets, objectives, and operational timelines.
* Prioritise safety while adhering to standards and quality requirements.
* Facilitate collaboration among departments to minimise delays and errors.
* Manage equipment maintenance and stock levels.
* Prepare accurate paperwork, reports, and records relating to operations, QHSE, and compliance.
You
* Proven experience in a comparable role involving leadership and management of a workshop, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
* Relevant trades qualification, preferably in boilermaking or fitting.
* Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance.
* Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
* Effective communication abilities to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and collaboration within a team setting.
* Proficient in computer literacy.
