Job Title: Environmental Department Lead
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our team of environmental specialists. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, team leadership, and environmental consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure project success
* Prepare and execute reports and other client correspondence, ensuring high-quality deliverables
* Provide oversight, QA/QC, analysis, laboratory testing, and field services as required to meet client expectations
* Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
* Develop business opportunities and grow the company through sales and marketing efforts
* Assist other team members to promote the overall objectives of the organization
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
* Professional certification (e.g. Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer) is highly preferred
* Project experience with Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments is required
Preferred Skills:
* Soil and groundwater sampling
* Lead Inspector certification
* Mold inspections
* Air and vapor sampling
* Wetlands delineations
Working Environment:
* Lift and/or move 35-100 pounds occasionally
* Accomplish field tasks under adverse weather and/or site conditions
* Work in confined spaces or climb and work at above-average heights
* Exposed to humidity, extreme temperatures, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
