We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to cover the Canterbury area, working within the agricultural sector. As a contract Sales Representative, you will be responsible for converting sales leads, creating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with valued clients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of this New Zealand owned business.
What you'll be doing
* Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through various channels (supported by the marketing team)
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients
* Negotiate and close sales deals
* Providing samples to interested customers
* Maintain detailed records of sales activities and pipeline
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of success in a sales role, ideally within the Agricultural industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
* Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills
* Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
* Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends
* Proficient in using sales management tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software
* Own vehicle (mileage covered)
* Available 15-20 hours per week
On offer is an hourly contract fee plus competitive commission. This role will allow you to work in with an existing role or part-time hours to suit you. We anticipate that the winter months are busier than the summer months due to the nature of the products on offer.
