The Opportunity
* Provide expert post-sales technical support by installing, servicing, and maintaining the company's detection and liquid handling instruments to ensure optimal customer outcomes.
* Take ownership of complex customer situations by investigating problems, implementing solutions, and escalating or involving others when required.
* Continuously develop and maintain deep technical and applicative knowledge to effectively support customers and uphold the company's quality standards.
* Independently organise, prioritise, and control daily tasks and travel to best meet customer needs, business requirements, and agreed targets.
* Collaborate with Sales and Support Specialists on pre‐sales activities, demonstrations, and installations to enhance proposals and ensure smooth post‐sales implementation.
* Comply with the company's QMS, safety procedures, OH&S regulations, and company policies, while maintaining accurate service records in FSM tools and SAP.
* Represent the company with integrity and professionalism in all customer, partner, and internal interactions, including marketing events and trade shows when required.
* Work closely with Management, Sales, Service, Finance, and Administration teams, while collecting and sharing competitive insights and new business leads.
The Requirements
* Associate Diploma or higher qualification in electronics, engineering, or a related technical discipline
* Field service experience within the medical technologies sector
* Experience working in research, clinical diagnostics, or analytical chemistry environments
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers
* Practical computer skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure
* Team‐oriented, flexible, and adaptable, with ability to multitask and learn new technologies
* Ability and willingness to travel locally, interstate, and occasionally overseas
The Offer
Remuneration will include a competitive base salary, performance bonus and a car allowance.
