We’re currently seeking a motivated Administration Officer to join our friendly and supportive team based in Bairnsdale. This is a part-time, Monday, Tuesday and Friday position, typically working between 7:00am and 4:00pm. Flexibility may occasionally be required outside these hours to meet operational needs.
Reporting directly to the Administration Supervisor, this is a fantastic chance for someone with experience in, or a desire to join, the transport and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile driver timesheets and runsheets (local and linehaul)
- Support payroll processing by ensuring hours/kilometres align with the EBA and are accurately entered
- Communicate effectively with drivers and staff
- Ensure timesheet compliance
- Maintain reports, documents, and spreadsheets
- Scan and manage documentation including timesheets, runsheets, and PODs
- Process customer orders and send PODs/pallet dockets as required
- Perform general filing and administrative duties
- Provide day-to-day operational support as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior administration experience (transport/logistics industry an advantage)
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage high volumes of work with strong time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively
- Calm under pressure with a proactive attitude
- Quick to learn new systems and software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
