Maintenance Electrician - Industrial Manufacturing | Ingleburn, NSW

A market-leading industrial manufacturer operating a highly automated, high-speed production facility in Ingleburn is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their afternoon shift team. This business is known for its strong safety culture, long-term job security, and ongoing investment in automation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing technology.
This is a Monday to Friday afternoon shift role (2:00pm-10:00pm), ideal for an electrician with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working in fast-paced production environments.
About The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance, breakdown response, and automation troubleshooting across a modern manufacturing site. You will work closely with mechanical trades, production, and engineering teams to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical breakdown response and fault finding on high-speed automated machinery
Troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems
Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment
Electrical isolations, testing, repairs, and safety compliance checks
Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects
Accurate completion of job cards, CMMS updates, and maintenance documentation
Ensure all work meets WHS, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with mechanical and production teams
About You
Trade-qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence
Background in industrial manufacturing, packaging, food, or automated environments
Strong electrical fault-finding capability on PLC-controlled machinery
Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs highly regarded
Solid understanding of isolations, lockout procedures, and safety systems
Able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
CMMS experience preferred
