**ASSISTANT MANAGER - Petroleum/Convenience Retail**

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager for our store located in _**Soldiers Hill, Ballarat**_ **VIC **_area.
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, hands-on attitude and demonstrate initiative and determination to make things happen by delivering outstanding customer service and results.
Our Assistant Managers support the Site Manager in many aspects of Service Station/Convenience Store operations and provide practical guidance, leadership and inspiration to their teams on a daily basis.
A positive attitude and a desire to go above and beyond will see you thrive in our fast-paced retail environment. Previous Barista or food handling experience would be advantageous since this store also offers Daniel's Donuts.
Since no two days are the same, you'll need to be comfortable with change and dynamic enough to deal with any challenge.
You will be responsible for:
- Customer service including making barista coffee
- Supporting the Site Manager in driving store sales and achieving targets.
- Controlling store incomes and expenses.
- Contributing to all aspects of store operations; serving customers, stacking shelves, merchandising, ordering and maintaining Brand standards.
- Assist in the training and development of individual store team members.
- Ensuring a safe environment at all times for both staff and customers.
- Assisting with staff planning and rostering.
- Relieving the Site Manager as and when required.

**Salary**: Up to $63,600.00 per year

**Experience**:
