We're seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker to join our Mill Maintenance team to ensure our production equipment runs smoothly at our Feed Mill, located onsite in Beerwah. This role offers a diverse range of maintenance and repair tasks, giving you a unique opportunity to broaden your expertise and contribute to a dynamic team.
About the Role
As a Boilermaker/Mill Maintenance Technician, you will:
* Conduct breakdown repairs, preventative and scheduled maintenance duties
* Fault Find and troubleshoot throughout the Mill
* Sheet and metal fabrication work including chute and auger troughs
* Participate in improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages
* Perform general welding/maintenance duties
* In consultation with Mill Maintenance Manager and staff, identify equipment and areas requiring attention for efficient mill operation.
* On-call on a roster basis
Skills and Experience:
* Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker
* Experience in Mill maintenance (highly desirable)
* Forklift ticket required (or willing to obtain)
* Working at heights ticket advantageous
* Confined space ticket required (or willing to obtain)
* Attention to detail with a high level of problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong work ethic
* Reliable transport and driver's licence
* Time management skills
