Financial Accountant - Nanosonics
Nanosonics is a global medtech leader committed to innovation and safer healthcare solutions. We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Group Finance team and support the month‐end close, compliance reporting, and treasury functions across our ASX‐listed multinational operations.
The Opportunity
As a Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the Group Finance team to manage the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, fixed assets, and month‐end reporting. You'll also support tax compliance, ASX reporting, and treasury activities such as cash‐flow forecasting and bank reconciliations. In this role, you will help drive accurate financial outcomes, provide insights through reporting and analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
You will act as a key liaison with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and accounting service providers, ensuring timely and accurate financial information across all functions.
What You'll Bring
* 3‐5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant or Assistant Financial Accountant.
* Strong experience with month‐end close activities.
* Solid understanding of AASB/IFRS accounting standards.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Technical Skills
* Advanced MS Excel skills (essential).
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365, ASX‐listed multinational companies, or medical device manufacturing is desirable.
Qualifications
* CA or CPA qualified accountant (or working towards).
