Multidisciplinary Building Services Consultancy looking for a Mechanical Designer & Drafter to join their team permanently. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer & Drafter with strong building services experience to join a growing consultancy team. This is a full-time, in-office role working on a wide range of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. About the Role: You will support the mechanical engineering team by producing high-quality Revit models and documentation for HVAC and general mechanical building-services systems. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on project work, close collaboration with engineers, and contributing to coordinated building-services design. Key Responsibilities Develop mechanical building-services drawings using Revit. Produce models, plans, sections, schematics, schedules and construction documentation. Work closely with mechanical engineers to translate concepts, sketches and mark-ups into detailed designs. Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, hydraulic, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated, clash-free designs. Maintain drawing standards, model accuracy, and project documentation workflows. Assist with updates, revisions, RFI responses, and documentation packages throughout project stages. Contribute to HVAC layout design, equipment placement, ductwork and pipework routing. The successful candidate: Demonstrated building services experience (essential). Strong Revit experience within mechanical services design. Understanding of HVAC systems and general MEP coordination. Ability to work full-time onsite in an office-based environment. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation.
