The role of a Driver Supervisor is multifaceted and requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of bus drivers.
About the Role
As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations from the depot and maintaining compliance with safety, fatigue management, and regulatory standards.
This is a Monday to Friday position, with the successful candidate required to work a rotating morning and afternoon roster to ensure strong on-the-ground leadership and support during key operational hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of drivers to achieve performance and service delivery outcomes
* Manage day-to-day resourcing, rostering, leave, and absenteeism
* Monitor driver behaviour and coach for improvement
* Handle operational issues, including incidents and customer feedback
* Ensure compliance with fatigue guidelines, safety policies, and Enterprise Agreements
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes
* Provide after-hours incident support as part of an on-call roster
* Maintain high fleet presentation standards and assist with depot facilities coordination
