About the role
The Visitor Services Officer at Cradle Mountain will assist the day-to-day operations of the Visitor Centre and contribute to delivering essential frontline services by:
Overseeing Overland Track and Waldheim Cabins bookings.
Providing information to visitors regarding recreational activities, safety considerations, Leave No Trace principles, and natural and cultural values.
Balancing and reconciling monies collected through sales and entry fees, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures.
Providing logistical support and assistance in the event of emergencies and other critical incidents.
