The Opportunity
We are supporting a well-established underground gold operation that is undergoing a significant uplift in its underground leadership structure. As part of this expansion, multiple Underground Supervisor positions are available across both temporary and permanent engagements.
These roles sit within an active underground mining environment and will suit experienced UG Supervisors, or strong Leading Hands ready to step up, who can provide safe, effective frontline leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise underground mining activities in line with site safety, production and statutory requirements
* Lead and mentor underground crews, ensuring safe work practices at all times
* Coordinate daily work plans, manpower and equipment utilisation
* Liaise with Mining Engineers, Technical Services and Maintenance teams
* Ensure compliance with site procedures, permits and reporting requirements
* Contribute to a positive safety culture and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
* Proven underground mining experience is essential
* Previous experience as an Underground Supervisor, or strong UG Leading Hand experience with supervisory exposure
* Solid understanding of underground mining methods and operational hazards
* Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
* Ability to step into temporary relief or longer-term permanent roles as required
* Current statutory tickets and relevant qualifications (or ability to obtain)
