About the Role
We're on the hunt for reliable Casual Utility Allrounders to support multiple mine sites across the Bowen Basin (Emerald & surrounds). Working on a casual, multi-site roster, this role is ideal for those who thrive on variety and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service, mine site cleaning, and tavern operations.
* Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for village residents. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
* Uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
* Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred).
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
* Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
* Must pass a Queensland Coal Board Medical Including Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol clearance.
* Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
* Safe Food Handling Certificate required.
* Driver's License/Photo ID required.
* Must have reliable means of transportation to and from site.
* First Aid Certificate (desired).
* RSA Certificate (desired).
* Forklift License (desired).
