**About the role**
The ICT Customer Support Officer provides a broad range of support to users utilising a range of media (including the infrastructure environment and software) to troubleshoot and resolve issues and service requests of moderate complexity across the organisations ICT environment.
- Responsibilities:_
- Deliver tier 2 phone and in person support to users in line with agreed organisational SLAs
- Maintain and support on going operations throughout the government agency
- Investigate minor security breaches in accordance with established procedures and record findings to improve overall ICT security
- Ensure end user access rights and privileges and operate logical access controls and scrutiny systems in accordance with agreed policy and standards
- Install or remove hardware and/or software
- Return users ICT systems and networks to optimum efficiency
- Manage set-up activities for ICT devices and systems and monitor their performance
**About you**
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in ICT support role
- Strong understanding and knowledge of computer hardware and software components
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Australian driver's license
- NCRC and WWCC may be required
- Permanent resident or citizen
- Per NSW Government policy all employees must be fully vaccinated.
