About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Inventory Controller to support our returns operations and inventory control processes. This role works closely with compliance, 3PL partners, technical teams and service centre managers to ensure inventory accuracy, process efficiency and adherence to company standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day inventory activities, system transactions and reporting, while also supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support daily return operations, including stock grading, downgrading, scrapping, dispatch, and compliance processing.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by executing control measures and monitoring aging or mismatched stock.
- Conduct and oversee inventory checks, including 3PL cycle counts and system reconciliation.
- Process approved inventory transactions such as adjustments, transfers, grade changes, and material reclassifications.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, including handling of illegitimate returns.
- Ensure correct classification and handling of RLI products per company standards.
- Collaborate with compliance teams, service centre managers, tech teams, and 3PL to support efficient operations.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in inventory processes, systems, and reporting tools.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory, logistics, or a related operational role.
- Confident in preparing and delivering reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of reverse logistics and inventory management processes.
- Experience with SAP is ideal, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work comfortably with data and reporting tools.
