Job Description
The role includes but is not limited to:
* Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial goals are met.
* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* An understanding of the industrial and manufacturing industry is advantageous.
