Department for Infrastructure and Transport
Job reference: 703874
Location: KADINA
Job status: Ongoing
Eligibility: Open to Everyone
At the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, we are connecting South Australia to keep our State moving. We are responsible for delivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of transformative transport and social infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing our city's public transport network.
Our work encompasses every part of our State; from our cities to our regions, connecting and strengthening community. We value diversity and inclusion and foster an environment of collaboration, flexibility, and support for our people.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Service Delivery Manager to lead and inspire customer service operations across metro and regional centres.
In this role, you'll oversee licensing and registration services delivered through multiple channels, ensuring every customer receives a consistent, high-quality experience. You'll mentor and support staff, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with legislation and procedures — all while keeping people at the heart of what you do.
You'll also work closely with internal teams to coordinate resources, manage risks, protect privacy, and support the wider network beyond your local centre. This is an opportunity to bring your leadership skills, fresh ideas, and passion for public service to a role that truly makes an impact on the community.
If you're strategic, people-focused, and committed to improving public services, we welcome your application.
About You
You're someone who leads by example and takes safety seriously—not just for yourself, but for your team and the community. You communicate openly and honestly, making sure everyone has a voice and you're not afraid to tackle the tough conversations when needed.
You understand what good customer service looks like and take ownership of delivering it every day. You make sound decisions based on evidence and experience, and you're confident working within your delegation. You set clear expectations for your team and focus on both how the work gets done and how people behave. You're quick to put the right processes in place to make sure policies and procedures are followed properly.
