We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. In this role, you'll lead a small team and support process improvement across our national operations.
Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the Accounts Payable team of 4 to ensure business outcomes are achieved.
* Ensure all payments are made in accordance with credit terms.
* Assist team to resolve invoices where no purchase order has been raised.
* Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Conduct regular supplier account reconciliations against statements.
* Ensure all required documentation is in place for subcontractor payments.
* Supervise the onboarding of new suppliers.
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Accounts Payable role with Supervisory / Team Leader experience.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
* ERP experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and organisational skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage change.
