Job Description:
Experience Must Have:
1. Around 12 years of domain experience in any three of the following domains: Windows, VMWare, Citrix, Exchange, PRTG, ADFS, AD, and Linux.
2. 2 years of team management experience in onshore/offshore models.
3. Act as a single point of contact for the client for all infrastructure requirements.
4. Collate, consolidate, and present reports on tickets to the client.
5. 2 years of project management experience is desirable.
6. Excellence in customer interaction.
7. Experience in data center operations.
8. Business acumen and IT knowledge.
9. Excellence in strategic and analytical problem solving.
10. Experience in operations or consulting background.
11. Should be an individual performer.
Technical Skills:
1. Extensive knowledge of all facets of AD-related tasks and activities.
2. Administering Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 R2 active directory domains using standard Microsoft snap-ins such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, Active Directory replication, etc.
3. Understanding of FSMO roles.
4. ADFS and cloud integrations.
5. Good knowledge of installing and managing internal and external certificates.
6. Support for Office 365.
7. Creating objects in Active Directory.
8. Managing share permissions.
9. MS Exchange.
10. Knowledge of Big Fix for rolling out patches to Windows servers.
11. F5 load balancer support.
12. Delegating Active Directory object permissions (e.g., users, groups).
13. Managing groups and permissions.
14. Microsoft Distributed File System and its replication.
15. Microsoft File/Print services.
16. Managing Active Directory-integrated DNS and DHCP solutions.
17. Creating and managing group policies and troubleshooting.
18. Active Directory migration experience.
19. Improving AD processes and automating repetitive tasks where feasible.
20. Configuring and maintaining WSUS and/or SCCM servers.
21. Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
22. Installation of ESX servers, vCenter Server, and vSphere Client.
23. Advanced features of ESX: VMotion, SVMotion, HA, and DRS.
24. Experience in P2V, V2V migration using VMware Converter and provisioning VMs from templates and cloning.
25. Experience with disaster recovery using SRM (Site Recovery Manager).
26. Health checks for VMs and ESX hosts.
27. Enterprise-level PKI administration.
28. Management of AD sites and services.
29. AD trust relationship configuration and troubleshooting.
30. LDAP configuration and troubleshooting.
