Student Services Coordinator Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing processes to engage non-attending and disengaged students, families, and relevant support agencies. This includes providing individualized case management and coordinating support services for identified students.
Main Responsibilities:
* Liaise with non-attending and disengaged students, families, and relevant support agencies to increase participation and engagement in educational programs.
* Facilitate the development of agreements and protocols with support agencies and employer agencies to assist students.
* Identify, implement, monitor, and evaluate school attendance and engagement strategies and procedures using attendance data analysis to identify key issues and trends.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated well-developed program management skills, including project planning, budgeting, coordination, implementation, and evaluation.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of current trends and issues in education in relation to student service provision.
* Well-developed research, analytical, and conceptual skills, as well as an ability to plan and coordinate a variety of strategies and programs.
* Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify and develop links between families and appropriate support services.
* Well-developed written communication skills with the ability to prepare documentation for a range of specific purposes and audiences.
About the Role:
This is a permanent full-time position that will commence Term 4, 2025. The role will work closely with the committed student services team to ensure excellent pastoral care and monitoring of students.
