Overview of the Role
As a Senior Account Manager (SAM) at BRX Sydney, you lead the day-to-day management of client relationships and campaign delivery. You take initiative, guide internal teams, and contribute strategic value to clients. You support team development, forecast confidently, and deliver complex projects with minimal oversight. You partner with internal stakeholders and senior clients to drive client satisfaction using our agency's Better, Faster, Smarter framework.

Key Responsibilities
* Build trusted, value-led relationships with mid–senior client stakeholders, acting as a reliable day-to-day partner.
* Demonstrate strong understanding of client business goals, market context, and customer needs to ensure all work ladders to meaningful outcomes.
* Lead the end-to-end management of campaigns and workstreams, ensuring clarity of briefs, strategic alignment, and effective delivery across channels.
* Ensure creative and production outputs are on brief, on brand, and strategically sound, providing clear, well-informed feedback to internal teams.
* Run WIPs, strategic discussions, and campaign retrospectives, bringing structure, insight, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Apply strong commercial and operational judgement, balancing quality, efficiency, and strategic intent in all recommendations.
* Facilitate clear and confident communication between clients, creative teams, strategy, media, and production partners.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges early, maintain alignment, and ensure momentum across delivery stages.
* Present work and strategic recommendations effectively, articulating key insights, rationale, and implications for next steps.
* Foster strong internal collaboration, creating an environment where teams feel supported, informed, and empowered to deliver great work.
Delivery & Impact
* Manage projects from briefing to final delivery, owning timelines, milestones, approvals, and stakeholder communication.
* Ensure all deliverables meet BRX's quality standards, reflect the brief, and deliver against strategic and commercial objectives.
* Drive operational discipline, maintaining accurate documentation, status updates, resource planning, and production processes.
* Hold accountability for project performance, ensuring campaigns contribute measurable value to both client objectives and BRX.
* Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to junior team members, delegating effectively and helping build confidence and capability.
* Offer constructive, timely feedback, supporting the development of account coordinators, executives, and AMs.
* Contribute to a culture of shared learning, demonstrating curiosity, openness, and BRX's Happy High Performance mindset.
* Identify opportunities to improve campaign processes that result in more effective ways of working.
* Champion efficient tools and technologies, encouraging adoption of practices that streamline collaboration or increase effectiveness.
* Support Account Directors in exploring new opportunities, helping shape proposals and initiatives that drive client and agency growth.
Experience & Skills
* 5–7 years in an agency or integrated marketing role
* Track record of successful client management and delivery
* Experience managing junior staff or project teams
* Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
* Skilled at prioritising tasks, problem-solving, and staying composed in high-pressure situations
* Confident communicator and presenter
* Skilled at financial management and forecasting
* Keen attention to detail
* Skilled at managing a high volume of work
* Able to coach others and give effective feedback
Salary Range
