Your new companyHays Technology is partnering with a leading industrial organisation to recruit an experienced Senior IT Support Officer for a 5-6-month contract located in Wangara. This role sits within a supportive APAC IT function and provides hands‐on technical support to end users across the region.If you're a customer‐focused IT professional with strong troubleshooting capability and a passion for service excellence, this is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‐moving team.
Your new roleAs the IT Support Officer, you will act as a first and second level support specialist, delivering high‐quality technical assistance, problem resolution, and user enablement across hardware, software, and network environments.Key responsibilities:Delivering 2nd/3rd level hardware and software support to users in the APAC regionInstalling and configuring computers, monitors, peripherals, and network devicesCreating user accounts and supporting onboarding for new employeesTroubleshooting issues across email, printers, devices, and applicationsAssisting with the rollout of new software, systems updates, and local IT projectsProviding end‐user training and identifying further training needsMaintaining asset inventories and contributing to IT process documentationParticipating in global IT meetings
What you'll need to succeedSolid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, servers and networksA proactive, \"can‐do\" approach with the ability to work independently and in a teamExperience with Microsoft Office 365 technologiesUnderstanding of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)Driver's licence and willingness to travel for occasional onsite workKnowledge of ITIL or ERP systems (MS D365) is advantageous.
